Title:  Events that happen
Category: Beyblade
Rating: T
Genre: Romance/Humour
Pairing: Tyson x Kai
Disclaimer: I dont own....
Summary: Makoto's causing mayhem and Tyson's a step away from strangling the boy. An encounter with a young boy who has a striking resemblance to Kai opened up every door possible and the kids are running rings around their parents ^^
A/N: I'll be switching back and forth from the jap and eng names, it's not as confusing as it sounds. honest ^^ Forgive for my typos!

"Makoto!! Get your behind back here right now!" screamed a furious blunette, currently running towards a smaller version of himself. The younger boy: Makoto, seemed to be running for what any passer by would call his life.
"No way tou-san i value my life, heh heh," he called back, speeding up down the pavement. "I said i was sorry."
"That is the last time i ever let you do a so called 'project' in the house again," The boys father yelled, following his son into the park. "Dammit Makoto where are you? You have absolutley no idea how long you are grounded for kid."
Some where behind a tree a small 'meep' was heard and Tyson Kinomiya; three time world champion in blading and father of the most hazardous child known to man, smiled with an aura that sent Makoto legging it through the forest. Tyson could only laugh and his sons reaction and chose to follow him in, he didn't want him getting lost, after all he was a responsible parent...or so he liked to think.
"Come on Makoto quit it, we had better get back home," or to what's left of it after that... he called to the trees. "I'm not gonna kill you for it this time, but the next time you want to 'make' something. Then do it outside!!"
A few minutes of aimless wandering went by, with Tyson still searching the forest. He wasn't worried but he still frowned getting annoyed by his sons stubborness. He's such an idiot sometimes, if i knew it was going to explode then i never would have let him do it in the first place! Now he's run off and is bloody hiding from me...oh joy.
"Mako-"
"Agh!"
Tyson looked up, startled by the sudden cry and immedietly ran towards where he heard it. Sitting at the base of the tree was Makoto, hand on his heart looking as shocked as anything.
"W-what the hell!" He shouted, jumping to his feet. "That's dangerous idiot, you could've knocked me out."
Tyson raised an eyebrow and looked at his son. "Hey, what just happened? Why d- Oh my lord why is there a gaping hole in the tree? Makoto what did you do this time!"
"Hey, i didn't do anything," he argued back, looking mildly offended. "It was that hunk of junk in the tree."
Tyson followed his gaze, his eyes searching the hole till he saw the dust settling. Inside something spinning came to a stop and Tyson reached in and pulled it out. "Oh it's a beyblade."
"Of course it is mister, what else could do that."
Tyson followed the voice and gawped; standing a few feet away, arms folded and an all to familiar glare, was a small boy who completely resembled Tyson's greatest rival. "Kai? B-but you've shrunk!"
The boy rolled his eyes not giving a glance to the younger blunette, who was probably just a year younger than himself, and started walking towards the older one. "My names not Kai, it's Gou. Give me back my blade."
"Oh sorry, you just looked so similar. So you're the kid that nearly knocked Makoto out," Tyson smiled, still holding the blade. "You know you really need to work on your aim, if you just launch it it'll go any where."
The kid looked up at him, eyes searching the adults face confusedly. His eyes widened with a new realisation but he quickly pushed the thought away.
"It doesn't matter Takao Kinomiya, i'm not bothered about blading and it's not my blade," Gou smirked. Tyson frowned and continued to watch him with curiosity. "I need it back or otou-san will go insane."
"Gou so this is your dads? Hm what kinda of bla..." Tysons words trailed off as he took a look at the bit-beast, mouth hanging slightly open. "D-D...Uh Gou who's your father?"
"Hiwatari Kai," Gou said obligingly. "I'm only telling you because i know who you are, Kinomiya-san."
"Kai has a kid! Ha ha, i never thought he'd ever be the father type," Tyson breathed in heavily wiping the tears from his eyes. Makoto had still been standing there watching the whole episode unfold, he sweatdropped seeing his fathers reaction. "Seriously though, why do you have Dranzer...wait, why aren't you in Russia?"
The younger Hiwatari sighed impatiently, trying to give him a death glare. "Kinomiya-san give me back the blade already."
Tyson found it hard not to laugh at the glare he was being given, it was so KAi like it was amazing. "Hiwatari Gou, like father like son heh. Oh yeah, Gou why aren't you with Kai?"
"Forget it, i'm out of here," Gou turned around and walked off.
"Gou hey wait, we'll take you home," Tyson said cheerfully as he caught up to the boy, Makoto in tow.
Gou spun around and glared at him. "I'm not going home and you can't make me, besides it's not like he'll miss me any way."
"You ran away from home?" Makoto shouted, now suddenly more interested in the conversation.
"None of your business kid," Gou snapped.
"Kid! I'm what, like a year younger than you," Makoto growled.
"That's enough you two, listen Gou did you leave with out telling Kai?" Tyson asked, looking a little apprehensive.
He was met with silence as Gou stood in a pose well known to Tyson. That silence he took as a yes and he shook his head mournfully. "Gou he's going to be worried sick, you have to go home."
"No he won't and i refuse to go home," Gou said stubbornly.
"Let me guess then; you had a fight?" Tyson asked,  bending down to Gou's height. Yet again he was met by silence and so he took it as another yes. "It couldn't have been that bad, you'll have to go home eventually so why not do it now and make up."
"I'll only say it once more, i'm not going home and he can worry as you put it forever."
Saying that Gou turned around and run off, completely forgetting about Dranzer and leaving a stunned Tyson behind. Makoto walked up to his father and gave the path a skeptical look.
"That kids got issues, he seems fun."
So Kai's got a kid, and that kids run off -most likely lost- into the forest...Hmm, his probably really worried. I wonder if he even knows Gou took Dranzer. Uh oh...
--

They had moved to Japan a month ago, he hadn't seen it necessary to buy a big house because he didn't think he'd be staying there long. Instead he chose to buy a small apartment in beycity. Kai Hiwatari was sitting on the couch, his usual suit -now that he was the president of his grandfathers company- had been swapped for a more layed back outfit; dark jeans and a purple and black shirt. He had been planning to go out that morning, but now he sat there with his mobile in one hand as the other toyed with the hem of shirt.
It had been four hours, four, and there was still no word from him. Kai pressed the send button for which was probably the twentieth time in the last quarter of an hour.
Kai hadn't been worried when his son stormed out of the house, he knew he was just venting his anger and that he would probably be home by lunch. Another hour passed and Kai had opted to stay home just in case he came back early, he still wasn't worried; maybe he had gotten lost, Gou had a smart head and would probably ask someone for directions, or call him. The third hour came and Kai was starting to feel the worry tugging at his mind so he called him; no answer. Maybe he hadn't heard it ring so he sent him a text.
Kai never got a reply and now as the fourth hour came to an end, and Gou hadn't answered a single message or call, Kai was anxious. He was even starting to feel sick and was working with idea of calling the police. He wasn't going to do that though, he'd give it another hour and then go out to look for him, the police would be a last resort.
Standing up Kai walked in to his room, thumb tracing over the call button of his mobile, and walked inside. He looked around and sat on his bed sighing. He didn't have to get so mad, i know he was waiting for this but it wasn't as if i would actually up and leave him...great . Karma's out to get me; i abandoned my friends before and now my own son walks out on me...i bet he's lost. We've been here a month and he doesn't even know his way around, he's nine for crying out loud. Gou you bet- Huh?
Kai sat up and glanced over to his desk, on it was a few small tools, a couple of defense rings, and an attack ring. The rip cord, launcher and more importantly blade, were missing. "Gou...If anything happens to Dranzer..."
He growled threateningly at nothing, glaring at the empty spot on the desk, he got up and walked out of the room, taking a chair from the kitchen and pulling it over to where the house phone was. He sat down legs either side of it with his arms and head resting on the back of the chair. He stared at the phone just hoping it would ring some time soon and that Gou would tell him he was coming home.
Although at the current moment Kai was trying to decide whether to kill the kid when he got back, or to just be relieved that he was safe.

--

"Tou-san, why do we have to look for him any way?"
"Because Makoto, Kai's son has run off without letting him know," Tyson explained. "He's going to be really worried, and Gou's just run off into the forest, i bet he's lost."
"But tou-san, why do we have to find him," Makoto asked. It's not that he didn't care, he was just starting to get really hungry and was desperate for something to eat.
"Makoto if you went missing i'd be worried sick, i would even call the police," Tyson laughed, awkwardly. "In any case i know that i could count on my friends to help find you. Even if we haven't seen eachother in years."
"Oh okay, then lets find Gou!" the little Kinomiya shouted enthusiasticaly. "I wouldn't make my tou-san worry for a silly arguement."
No you'd just blow up the house... Tyson thought wryly. "Okay we'll split up and go search for him, he'll be wanting Dranzer back so that should help as well."
"Right, i'll go this way!" Makoto yelled running off.
"Ah don't get lost yourself," Tyson called out, knowing it was to late for him to be heard. "Oh boy..."
Tyson sighed, shaking his head and walked off. Makoto would be back; covered in dirt and laughing about how there was an alien that wanted to have a mud fight...or some other colourful excuse.
Well lets find the miniture Hiwatari before Kai calls the cops, heh it's hard to imagine Kai worrying or even having a kid for that matter. It's certainly an odd picture but i bet he's good with Gou. Hope this argument is something silly and nothing serious...Tyson looked through the trees as he walked, searching for any sign of the dual colour haired child amongst the autumn folliage. It was barely even ten minutes when he heard someone behind him, yelling about something or the other.
"Tou-san! Tou-san!" Makoto cried, jumping on Tyson's back. "I can't find him..."
Tyson sweatdropped, putting his son done. "I thought you was going to say some good news...what, didn't want to be on your own?"
"Nope, heh heh," Makoto said, hugging him. "Hey, doesn't Gou feel lonely not being with his parents?"
"Yup, every child does when they're away from the people who love them," Tyson smiled. "I bet Kai feels lonely too because parents don't like being away from the people they love either. I hope Gou's okay, when he gets home his old man will be really relieved."
"Pfft, you called Hiwatari-san an old man," Makoto laughed. "Didn't you say he was a grouch who made you train non stop and always glared at you. I wonder what he would do to you now, heh."
"He'd probably work him twice as hard and get revenge some how."
Both of father and son turned around to face the person who had spoke, he had made them both jump out of shock. "Gou! Where were you?"
Unknown to them Gou had been watching them as they searched for him, even listening in on their conversation. In truth he had felt a bit guilty and true to what Tyson had said; he was getting lonely.
"Around," he told them. "So you've still been looking for me."
"Gou come on, won't you go home?" Tyson asked, eyes pleading.
"If i go home then he'll win and i don't want that," Gou mumbled, avoiding eye contact. "He doesn't care any way, regardless of what you say."
"Do you wanna bet on that?" Tyson asked, standing net to the boy. "Do you have a mobile Gou?"
"Huh, of course. Who doesn't." he replied. "It's switched off though."
"Well turn it on and i bet you'll see i'm right," he grinned, cheekily.
Gou looked doubtful but reached into his pocket none the less and pulled it out. He switched it on and the phone gave a small beep of recognition. They waitied a couple of seconds and Gou was about to open his mouth whe nthe phone started to vibrate insanely.
"Woah, geez enough messages," Makoto laughed.
"Who are they from Gou?"  Tyson asked knowingly.
Gou looked at the phone, there were twenty odd messages and about thirteen missed calls. He opened the first one marked 'Uncle" and waited for the page to come up. Tyson read the screen and he frowned in puzzlement. "Uncle...Kai doesn't have a brother as far as i know."
"He's not my blood relative, his my otou-san's friend," Gou explained. "Uncle Yuriy is one of otou-san's really close friends, so he's practically my uncle."
"...Uncle Yuriy...Yuriy...," Tyson rolled the name around his tongue, trying to work out where he had heard it before. Then suddenly it clicked. "Uncle Tala! Oh this is too funny, pfft oh i never would have thought that up in my wildest dreams. Haha."
"What ever, are we readin these or not?" Gou asked irritably.
The three read through the message, looks of horror and shock etching there way across the three boys features. Tyson was the first to speak. "Well i knew Tala could be scary but...wow Kai must be really worried to tell someone who's all the way in Russia..."
The two younger boys shuddered as Gou erased the message and began to read through the rest. They were all marked from 'Otou-san" and Gou's expressions softened as he read through each one, before he finally took on a look of guilt. The calls were all from his father too.
"So Gou, you ready to go home?" Tyson spoke carefully. Gou didn't answer. "I told you your parents were worried."
"Parent," Gou mumbled, emphasizing  the T. Makoto raised his eyebrows at the comment but didn't say anything, his eyes widening when he caught his father picking Gou up and hoisting him over his shoulder. "Right, we're off to deliver Gou to his old man."
"Tou-san you don't even know where it is!" Makoto cried, following him.

--

Kai sighed and stood up, thinking as he put the chair back in to the kitchen where it belonged. I've had enough waiting around, i'll just go and look for him. He can't have gone too far.
He put his phone into his pocket and headed over to the door, taking his coat off the stand he pulled it on and routed through his pockets. They were here earlier...that must mean Gou took my keys. This kids getting to smart for his own good.
"No way around it then, i'll just have to leave the door unl-"
The door to his apartment clicked, and the handle turned as the door opened. To Kai's suprise it wasn't Gou who first walked in through the door.
"Tyson!"
